We will look at the main aspects of running a complementary health practice from marketing to the legalities of running a kinesiology practice from home. Students are encouraged to look at their own individual space and practical abilities and to be clear in what they are offering to clients and what they can practically fit into their lifestyle.

The course is divided into four parts:

1. Setting up a practice from home or working in treatments centres or renting rooms
2. Self Employment
3. Advertising and promotion
4. Legal Requirements

Students will also learn some basic book-keeping skills to support this course.  The professional KNOS (kinesiology national occupational standards) requirements are a minimum of 30 notional hours. APL may be taken into account for previous work based knowledge and skills.  The course can be run over Skype of Zoom and is divided into four sessions and includes home study. We look at the main aspects of running a complementary health practice from marketing to the legalities of running a kinesiology practice from home. Group and one to one training are available but may occur a different fee structure.

Tutor: Miranda Welton – I have run a successful practice since 1995, worked at numerous health fairs, taught in private classes and further and adult education establishments since 1997. Do you have the tools to set up and run a successful practice? Do you have the tools to invigorate your existing practice? This 4 day (2 weekend) practice management course has been designed to give you the tools to run your own business professionally with:

  • Confidence
  • Practical Knowledge
  • Self Responsibility

Within these three headings are the ideas and steps you can take to develop a business where you are positive, focused and enthusiastic.

School of Creative Kinesiology - Practice Management

This Core Subject training course is a great way to get to grips with running a natural health practice. Using Creative Kinesiology’s tracking method, we offer a different approach by working with the Five Elements, helping you to discover more  about you and your business, for you to recognise what to focus on to help your practice to grow.

This is a creative course, designed to help you successfully manage and grow your business. Its key aims are for you to know more about what you are offering as a therapist and to explore how to get that message out to prospective clients.

The course focuses on aspects you won’t be able to learn elsewhere, rather than repeating knowledge that will already be available to you free of charge on the internet.

This 45 hour course is a core subject for Kinesiologists from any modality wanting to become a Registered practitioner.
